We specialize in customizing 40-hour Crisis Intervention Training models that rely on collaborative partnerships within local communities.

We offer the premier mental health, de-escalation, and wellness & self-care training for all first responders and behavioral health clinicians.

All our work begins with the individual in mind. We prioritize self-awareness, self-care, and introspection as the structural components of our programs.

I tend to live my life based on a series of quotes.

Some of my favorites are:

"I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think."

~ Socrates

"It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows." ~ Epictetus

"The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts." ~ Marcus Aurelius

I believe the best teacher in life, is life. I have learned the best way to connect with people is through sharing your story. I want to share some stories with you, while also providing some valuable content that I have learned to master over the last two decades. I recently completed 20 years of service to the country and my community. I am a decorated combat-veteran marine and former police officer in San Antonio, Texas. The last 11-years of my policing career were spent on a full-time mental health unit. I helped grow that policing unit into a nationally recognized program. I am a (2018) TEDx San Antonio speaker, titled:

I See You. Additionally, I am a main-subject in the Emmy award-winning HBO documentary:

Ernie & Joe: Crisis Cops.

I have learned to use my trauma and journey of discovery to recovery to benefit other people and inspire change. I appreciate you connecting with me and I hope you will enjoy and implement the content we have created for you.
